I seriously want to do a case study on the Chick-fil-A’s PR strategy. Is all this publicity earning them more business? Is compromising success in more liberal markets less important than improving business in conservative markets?
The intersection of business and politics is fascinating. Businesses are increasingly taking positions on social and political issues, and I’m sure it is only to improve the brand image in their best markets, not any sort of call for social responsibility.
I can see it now: “Glenn Beck: Sponsored by Chick-fil-A!”
